For those of you who missed Sierra and Lennie's gorgeous wedding featured on Southern Weddings Magazine's blog yesterday, we have it here for you today! The beautiful location for this Southern destination wedding was at the Historic William Aiken House in Charleston, South Carolina. Sierra and Lennie's vision was to incorporate authentic South African (Lennie is from South Africa!) elements into their day and this was all done with planning and design by A Charleston Bride. They did an amazing job with the all white florals and were great to work with! Take a peek into Sierra and Lennie's very special day...

A Coastal Celebration // Pelican Hill Resort

This holiday weekend brought Elysium some super fabulous weddings and Paris and Kevin's was definitely included in that group! Paris and Kevin chose The Pelican Hill Resort as the beautiful setting for their special day. Before I begin, I have to mention how much I LOVE Paris' wedding gown, absolutely stunning!! Sunny from White Lilac did an extraordinary job with the florals and decor as always. Paris gave her a few guidelines and let Sunny's creativity flow- so cool when a bride does this! And who better to capture this day through their camera than Samuel Lippke who is always so great to work with. This day was so fun to shoot, especially since both families were awesome! The bride's sister and Maid of Honor, Pooneh, helped plan everything from long distance, which just adds a special touch in itself. Elysium's Rock 'n Roll Same Day Edit option is becoming increasingly popular amongst our clients, and who could blame 'em?! Our couples and their guests have a blast shooting them and Angel and Xiaopeng were no exception. They make such a gorgeous couple and if that wasn't enough, Xiaopeng is a Chinese Olympic gold medalist, you'll get to check out some of his moves in the video! A Day In Paradise // St. Regis Resort, Kaua'i

The culmination of the Elysium three week destination wedding travel ended with Emily and John's gorgeous wedding at the St. Regis Resort on the beautiful island of Kaua'i. The island is home to Mount Waialeale, it's summit is the rainiest spot on Earth, yet the clouds parted and made for a spectacular day! This super fun three day event was planned and coordinated by none other than Carolyn Chen of The Special Day. Carolyn designed the perfect day from the beginning of the planning process, it seemed so ethereal, the all white design decor truly set the mood for the reception. We also had a great time shooting alongside our friend Aaron Delesie, who I'm sure captured some amazing images. Emily and John's wedding events were a blast to shoot and their awesome crowd of family and friends made it that much better. Tallia and Gil opted for the wedding color of the season, Purple! They had awesome ceremony and reception decor designed by the talented Sunny at White Lilac. We shot alongside Sarah of Sarah K Chen Photography and she was a pleasure to work with. And with no surprise this was a Jeannie Savage and Details Details production! Stylish And Oh So Sweet // St. Regis, Monarch Beach

Elysium brides are LOVING purple this year, and who could blame 'em! Cherrie and Edward had chic purple decor for their special day at The St. Regis, Monarch Beach this past Saturday. Paula Laskelle and her team at Champagne Taste did a wonderful job coordinating the day while Trailbrook Photography captured some beautiful images. This blog post was appropriately titled "Stylish", because you have to check out Cherrie's classic Chanel bag and "Oh So Sweet", because Cherrie and Edward dropped off a delicious batch of cookies to the Elysium studio earlier in the week! How nice are they?! We are thoroughly enjoying our cookies and wish you two a lifetime of happiness! Check out their Same Day Edit!

Kelly and James had a grand celebration at the Montage Resort & Spa in Laguna Beach. Their purple color scheme came together beautifully with floral design by Nisie's Enchanted Florist who always does an extraordinary job. Of course, Jeannie Savage of Details Details was responsible for designing and planning such an amazing event, with Braedon Photography along to capture the day. Southern Charm // Laguna Cliffs Marriott, Dana Point

Jessica and Charlie are a super fun couple and it was all conveyed at their Laguna Cliffs Marriott reception. Their guests enjoyed Jessica and Charlie's fun choreographed first dance and were then included in a traditional Southern dance with beautiful umbrellas. A special touch to their wedding reception also included linens on the cake table that are family heirlooms. April Whitney Events did a great job coordinating the day and Derek Photography captured some great images.
