Trump National Golf Course / Highlights / Christine & Jimmy

Today's guest blogger is Christine. Take a peek inside Christine and Jimmy's seaside celebration.

Jimmy and I met when we went out partying with a group of mutual friends. We were both a little shy, but after a little alcohol in the stomach, we starting talking. As we got to know each other and hangout more and more, we found out that we were really similar and we clicked really well. We were really attracted to each other’s qualities, and we fell in love. Soon we realized that we'd found the soul mate that we had been looking for.

Jimmy planned the proposal for a while and I was oblivious of it. He knew I've never been to Hawaii, so he took me to Oahu and Maui for a week for my birthday. On the afternoon of my birthday, he took me to a spa, and then we went to the beach as the sun was setting over the horizon. He brought out a birthday cake, and sang happy birthday to me, then asked me to close my eye and make a wish. When I open my eyes, Jimmy was in front of me on his knee holding up a shiny ring box with a glittering diamond ring inside. It was the best birthday present I could ever wish for!

We did a lot of research for our wedding, from going online, to reading bridal magazines, to visiting venues and vendors. We think that you should definitely give yourself plenty of time to plan for your wedding, because visiting a lot of different vendors takes a lot of time, and finding the right venue is one of the first things you should do. We decided to have the wedding at Trump National Golf Course because we both love their ocean/golf course view and their menu selection. At the end our efforts were all worth it, the wedding was beautiful. We were really happy with the way our wedding turned out, and all the guests seemed to have enjoyed it just as much as we did. Thanks honey for giving me the wedding of my dreams!

We're so glad that we hired Elysium Productions to document our wedding. Their team is very professional, and they knew exactly what to film. They were able to capture all the details on the wedding, from getting ready, to ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception. We're able to relive the sweet memories and catch up on some moments that we missed through Elysium's DVD. We couldn't be happier with Elysium Productions' work.
