I can't wait to share this Same Day Edit from last Saturday at Pelican Hill! Michelle from Details Details rocked it out and put together an absolutely gorgeous party for the bride & groom. After the ceremony at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano, Joe Latter took some photographs on the beautiful grounds and then it was off to the reception! Check his blog and stay tuned for the photos! Everyone had a great time and danced until the wee hours of the morning at the after party. Congrats Alejandra & Damian!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have LOADS to blog and no time to do it! These last few weeks have been the busiest in Elysium's history so thx for your patience. Lots of AWESOME stuff to share shortly!!
Check out this absolutely beautiful wedding at Terranea Resort- a stunning new venue on the Palos Verdes penninsula. I love the color combo of this event: cream, seablue, and champagne with some accents of purple. Even the drapes in the reception room were covered in these colors! The decor was super cool w/the cabanas & furniture provided by Rrivre Works. Carolyn Chen from The Special Day helped make Ana & Eddie's dream wedding come true by designing this elegant affair PLUS handling all the details - and there were a lot of them! The couple wore "Han Boks" for their traditional Korean ceremony (called "Pae Baek") that took place at the beginning of the reception to honor their parents and elders. After the 1st dance there was a surprise performance by a famous dance crew called "Last for One". Everyone loved it! Mille Fiori did a fabulous job on the floral design & DJ Shy (from KIIS FM) did a great job getting the party going. Aaron Delesie & his wife Jen were there to take the photographs - awesome to work with as always!!

Janice & Bolaji's Same Day Edit from Montage, Laguna Beach
This wedding is so beautiful! Check out Janice & Bolaji's big day from Montage, Laguna Beach. I love the color scheme and I love the way their monogram (& the fleur-de-lis) is brought through the entire event - especially on the dancefloor! Jeannie from Details Details helped their vision come to life and made sure that all the details were taken care of. Joe Latter was on hand to take the fabulous photographs. He is great to work with and super talented!

James & Trang's Same Day Edit from Edmonton, Alberta
This past weekend we were off to Edmonton to film another great wedding for the Vo family (see Trang's sister's wedding from last August here). It wasn't quite as hot this time (weather wise) but Trang & James' wedding was just as fun to film as Chau's. We got to work with a cool photo couple who were super rad - literally! Their company name is RAD Studio and they are from Vancouver. Together we roamed around Edmonton between the main ceremony (which was held at the Fairmont MacDonald) and the reception (which was at the Sutton Place Hotel) to get some killer stuff. Of course I mainly shot w/the 5D and I literally get goosebumps every time I see the bridal party shot w/tons of flair that comes in close to the end of this edit. I know. I'm super geeky. Congrats guys!!
