Before I blog the Same Day Edit we did from Saturday's wedding in Edmonton, Canada, I wanted to post this film! Jessica & Chris wanted us to put together a short film to show at their 2nd reception. This is actually more of an extended highlights than a trailer, but you get the idea! It was a an absolutely stunning day at Pelican Hill and I loved the color combo this couple chose for their wedding (very unique!) Details Details coordinated all the details so everything looked amazing and ran super smooth. Sunny from White Lilac did an incredible job on the unique decor and Joe Photo took all the amazing photographs. Congrats you two!

You'll have to watch this one a few times because there are so many details at this wedding! It was a gorgeous day to have an outdoor wedding at Montage and the bride looked radiant! Kelly Michelle did a great job coordinating everything, Design Visage did an absolutely stunning job on Ami's hair & makeup, and Eric from Jim Kennedy Photographers was on hand to take the fabulous photos. Congrats you two!

Suki & Andy's Same Day Edit from the Hyatt, Huntington Beach
This SDE is very special. Suki & Andy had an extraordinary two-day wedding that was actually a culmination of a week's worth of events. It started off on Friday with the Sikh Ceremony to honor the groom's traditions. There was a mini Barat and then the beautiful ceremony. In the evening it was off to MOLAA for the Sangeet. Their family lined up a great evening of entertainment and then the "after party" room was revealed and everyone danced the night away. I don't think Suki & Andy got much sleep before it was time for the second day's events to start at the Hyatt! In the morning we shot Suki getting ready. After all the preparations, the Hindu ceremony began after the awesome Barat (my favorite part of an Indian wedding). While Suki & Andy changed into their evening outfits, we shot the ballroom that was beautifully transformed by Nikki Khan - Suki's planner & designer. Nisie's beautiful florals accented the incredible draping, linens, and room layout designed by Nikki. Later, it was time for the reception which included even more yummy Indian delicacies and super fun dancing. We had a blast shooting alongside the very talented Dina of Andrena Photography and we also enjoyed working with the fabulous Couture Bridal Services who did Suki's hair & makeup on both days, as well as Special Occasions LA who spun the tunes and kept the party going!
The next day, I received an email from Suki informing me that her Grandfather had passed away sometime early the next morning. Although I was very sad to hear this news, I thought it was amazing that he held on to witness his granddaughter get married. What a fantastic last day of living and how special it was for Suki & Andy that he was there! Although the SDE was shown on Saturday, I added a little tribute to him in the beginning for this blog post.

Natasha & Brandon's SDE from the Beverly Hills Hotel
Natasha & Brandon were a really lovely couple and it was so fun to film their big day at the historic Beverly Hills Hotel! I could go on and on about this wedding because it was truly an incredible event. The day started out with me rigging one of the 5D's to the sunroof of the car so we could get a nice shot of the palm-tree lined streets of Beverly Hills as we drove up. That camera produces such incredible content! At this wedding we had FOUR of them as well as two EX1's (a perk of an Arthouse Platinum Package). I had been at the hotel early on Thursday morning to set up the most epic timelapse we've ever done... a 60 hour one. That's how long it took to install the incredible decor in the Crystal Ballroom and it was Trudy's (fabulous Mother of the Bride) idea to film it. Natasha wore a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta gown that looked amazing on her and the groom of course looked super handsome. We took some shots on the property with Yitzhak Dalal who is always fun to shoot with, and then it was back for the Ketubah Signing and Ceremony. The site for the ceremony was over the top and included a runway and gorgeous floral displays everywhere. After the first kiss and loud "Mazeltov!" from the guests, it was off to the cocktail reception which featured an incredible circular bar built entirely of ice. Once the reception started, it was party party party and I don't think one guest left before the party was over. Everyone had an incredible time and we were so excited to be a part of it! Major props to Linda Howard for helping Natasha & her Mom's vision come to life, along with Revelry & LA Premier

Before I blog the Same Day Edit from one of our weddings this past Saturday, I wanted to blog this one from a wedding a few weeks ago at Pelican Hill. I finally have a chance to post it! Can someone please extend the week by a few days? It would really help a lot!!

Wow - what a gorgeous event we filmed on Sunday! Everything was perfect for Gina & Ryan's big day thanks to an incredible team of vendors and all of Gina's hard work that she put in during the planning process. The Four Seasons is a beautiful property in Carlsbad and the weather was absolutely perfect. Everyone enjoyed the day and partied non-stop until the last dance! Everything went off without a hitch thanks to Brooke and the Details Details team. Sunny from White Lilac did a gorgeous job on the florals - one of my favorite color combos ever - pink and eggplant! Rabbi Rosenberg was there to officiate and he always does a great job, and of course we loved working with the fabulous Aaron Delesie and his wife Jen for photos. Having a great photographer always makes it easier for us to get great footage! Congrats Gina & Ryan and have fun on your amazing honeymoon!!

Gia & Victor's SDE from the Hahn Estate in Santa Barbara
Gia & Victor had such a fun two day event! The first day consisted of the Indian ceremony & the Indian Market themed party and then on Saturday we had the American ceremony with formal reception. Everything was outdoors at the beautiful Hahn Estate in Santa Barbara. We had a fabulous time shooting alongside Dane Sanders who I've known for awhile but have never had the pleasure of working with. The photos turned our AMAZING! Check them out here. Lisa Vorce was the super talented planner/designer and wow... everything just looked incredible - it was seriously a work of art. Mindy Rice's florals were super beautiful - I've always loved her work and she definitely did not disappoint at this event! On Friday, Frank Delour mixed an Indian vibe into regular dance tracks. He was awesome! There were a lot of incredible moments during these two days but too many to list. It's best just to watch their Same Day Edit that was revealed on Saturday:
