Nicole & Toby's Same Day Edit - Montage, Laguna Beach
Nicole & Toby had a beautiful wedding this past Saturday at Montage in Laguna Beach. The decor was very unique and very luxurious. I loved the long tables with gorgeous blue & brown linens. If you're looking for an event designer, look no further than Christopher Aldama. He does a fabulous job (as you can see in this video!) it was fun to see Jon Barber again... he is always so cool to work with and does a fabulous job with the photos! Jeannie Savage from Details Details helped pull everything together from the decor to the coordination. I think I can safely say that because of the awesome team she pulled together and the amazing couple and their families, this event turned out to be "off the hook"! So check out the Same Day Edit that was shot AND edited in High Definition. It was played right after the cake cutting when the plasmas surrounding the room were "revealed". Definitely a cool way to show this video!
Omnia & Shahed's Same Day Edit from the Four Seasons
Omnia & Shahed had a gorgeous wedding! Their color palate was one of my favorites: reds and oranges! For this wedding we drove almost 60 miles north to the Four Seasons in Westlake Village. We had never shot at this hotel before but it was fantastic venue! The ceremony site & reception were decorated by Square Root Designs who always does an amazing job. Check out their Same Day Edit!
I know I've been posting a lot of Same Day Edits and Next Day Edits lately, (and I have two more to blog about this week - we did two this past Saturday!) But I wanted to get back to posting other videos too. This couple is so awesome! We had a great time with Claudine & David on their wedding day back in December. After their Catholic Ceremony in La Mirada, it was off to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Downtown L.A. Our good friend Chenin Boutwell took them across the street to the Disney Concert Hall which has really unique architecture - perfect for cool photos (check them out on her Blog). The always awesome Stephanie Lairson coordinated the event and it was absolutely beautiful. The cake was TOTALLY cool and was featured in Grace Ormonde! Congrats Claudine & David!!
This couple had a "pinktastic" wedding at the St. Regis Monarch Beach back in May. They are a super sweet couple and we were so excited to film their big day! And this wedding did not disappoint... everything was magnificent - from the bride's gorgeous gown to the elegant pink linens. Everything was fantastic! There were several film crews alongside us in order to capture footage for the show "Platinum Weddings" on the WE channel so there were cameras everywhere. Aaron Delesie was outnumbered by video by quite a dramatic ratio on this day but it was all good... he still managed to capture incredible images as always! The Details Details gals coordinated this event and it of course went off flawlessly. This video was created for the couple to take with them a week later to show relatives that were not able to make it to the wedding. Thanks for allowing us to share your special day guys... and congratulations!

Terry & Ryan's Next Day Edit from the Ritz-Carlton
We really enjoyed filming Terry & Ryan's wedding on August 15th at one of our favorite venues in the OC... the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel (which has just undergone a huge makeover and is now quite trendy!). Terry was super laid back while she was getting ready and was just really excited to to get married. Of course it was also a blast to film because we worked alongside the fabulous Aaron Delesie who shot the photographs. Ruth Wang was the super fab coordinator who of course helped everything look amazing and run smoothly. Terry & Ryan decided to opt for our Next Day Edit option to show at their second reception in Huston later this month. Because after all, what medium documents a wedding better than video? Congrats Terry & Ryan!
Sandra & Harry couldn't have had a more perfect wedding this past Saturday! They are from the Bay Area and chose to get married down here because the weather is so predictable... and wow... they seriously couldn't have gotten a more beautiful day!! It was super clear and the temperature was perfect. Montage was the awesome venue. Jeannie from Details Details was there to coordinate the event. I asked the bride when I got there if she was nervous and she said "no because I know Jeannie is taking care of everything!" A great coordinator always makes the bride feel stress free on her wedding day (among many other things) and the gals at Details Details do an excellent job of that. The photographer was Ira Lippke who is always amazing to work with. Congratulations Sandy & Harry!

This is such a cool app! Not only can you see where your friends are, but you can FINALLY text message PHOTOS right from your phone (instead of having to go through email!!)
