I didn't do a great job blogging last week - so sorry! I'm getting ready for Re:Frame Austin and it's been absolutely crazy! This week I'll try to do better - and I want to start with a gorgeous wedding that we filmed this past Friday at Pelican Hill. The resort just reopened and it is STUNNING!! Betty and Ivan's wedding was beautiful. I loved all of the white orchids! Michelle from Details Details did an absolutely outstanding job planning the event! Betty looked amazing in her gown and their dogs with their little tuxedos were TOO CUTE! Ok - Ivan was pretty handsome too :) Aaron Delesie and I decided that the ceremony site is the perfect size - the gazebo (if you want to call it that) is the perfect size and doesn't overwhelm the space and is an amazing backdrop for a romantic wedding (and great photos/video). Well, can you tell I'm trying to be a bit more creative with my titles? I swear I never thought those English classes through High School & College would ever come in handy... wish I would have paid attention a bit more :(
Anyway... I can't wait to share this Arthouse Edit! Hilary & David had a lovely wedding at one of the most unique venues we shoot at: La Venta Inn. It probably has the best view out of all of 'em! I always try to get there just a bit early to enjoy the view and to watch the planes take off from LAX. The delightful Chenin Boutwell was my partner in crime on this day and together we got some amazing stuff! See her pics here. Congrats guys!!
