Nancy & Joe had an amazing wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel this past weekend. We had an awesome team at this event including Carolyn Chen (who was the coordinator extraordinaire) and Victor Sizemore (The fabulous and always fun photographer). The color scheme was really pretty, but I'm a bit biased because it was the same color scheme I picked for my wedding. The party was a blast and everyone had a great time! Congratulations Nancy & Joe!
Come one, come all! Whether you are a bride or a wedding professional, check out the Wedding Life lounge next Wednesday from 6 - 9pm. We're having just a casual open house but already have a ton or response, so if you'd like to stop by, please email Aimee and let her know! It's free and there will be some small snacks and champagne served.
BRIDES: This is a great place to find your wedding vendors and wedding coordinators who will help you put your dream wedding together. We will be giving away a free Bride Robe every hour!
WEDDING PROFESSIONALS: You've heard all the buzz... now's the time to check it out in person!
Nicole & Patrick had a fairytale wedding at the Disneyland Hotel! Kyle and Desiree shot this one and had a fabulous time. The photographer was the always fun Jim Kennedy who works as fast as he talks (we seriously get a workout when we shoot alongside him!) Kyle's favorite thing about this wedding was the caramel apples as favors... no she didn't eat one! But thought it was a super unique thing to place on the tables for the guests (and a great treat too!)
Oh my gosh I finally have a chance to blog this wedding! Cari & Stephen were married last weekend at Montage and had an absolutely fabulous wedding. Christopher Aldama from Fiori Fresco and Jeannie from Details Details helped it all come together. It was absolutely gorgeous... and they had an amazing day weather-wise too! Ira Lippke was on hand to take the photos. He's such an amazing artist and we always love working with him! So check out their Same Day Edit... I uploaded it to Vimeo so I could blog it in High Def. Word of warning... let it load for awhile before viewing. It's a huge file!
Well I'm sitting in JFK right now waiting for my connecting flight to Vegas for the NAB conference (National Assn. of Broadcasters). No... I'm not taking the long way around! I'm on my way back from England where Alex and I spent the last week. We decided to take a trip there for Alex's Dad's 70th birthday. Alex grew up in Sheffield (about 2 hours north of London... you know... where the Movie "The Full Monty" takes place) so before we headed up there, we decided to spend 5 days in London. My very favorite city in the whole world! It's also really special to us because that's where we net. Anyway, we put out the invite to all of our friends to join us if they wanted, and only Jim Kennedy & his wife Stephanie were brave enough to take us up on it! And man... did we have a great time! We were out of the hotel by 10 am every morning and back late at night. We crammed a lot into the 4 days they were there with us. Mostly just walking around the city and drinking in pubs. It was AMAZING!!! I borrowed a ton of these awesome photos from Jim's blog, but check out more there :)
What's awesome about this photo?
And of course the first place we hit was the Apple Store in London (actually we found it by accident) I'm not that obsessed.
On the tube
Outside Hampton Court (really cool old place where Henry the VIII shagged a lot of his wives/mistresses)
Is this a really big fireplace or is Stephanie just really short??
Getting some "air" outside in the amazing gardens
Thanks for the Engagement pic Jim!
Spring in London is gorgeous!
The London Eye... great views from here!
Houses of Parliament
Some Masai Warriors were in town to run the London Marathon (which took place on Sunday)
I just realized that I haven't blogged about Wedding Life in a while! Wedding Life is the ULTIMATE wedding resource out there for Orange County... highlighting some of the most crazy cool talented people out there that can make the wedding of your dreams come true. Here's the deal: When you get engaged, it's hard to know where to start. I know. Been there, done that. So Alex helped create Wedding Life so that a newly engaged bride can have access to the best of the best in OC right at her fingertips. And BTW... Wedding Life isn't your average online resource site. Believe me... we know there's a lot out there on that world wide web thingy! But what makes Wedding Life TRULY UNIQUE is that you can watch short episodes about each vendor. You can get to know THEM and their personalities and see if you'll click w/them before you even meet them. But anyway, I digress!! If you book a vendor through Wedding Life, you'll receive something that I wish I had on my wedding day... a strapless robe to wear while you are getting ready (and of course it's still useful after the wedding!) Anyway, check out this short vignette telling about the robes and be sure to visit Wedding Life and see what it's all about! Already married (I know you're out there blog stalkers) then pass this along to a friend who's getting married! Oh and did you know that you can upload your OWN video to the Wedding Life video section? I'm dying to see a series that a bride creates of her planning process. We're talking down and dirty videos with your home video camera. Any takers? I'm sure fellow brides would love that!
Judy and Stuart are awesome. We know Judy very well since she sometimes helps the Details Details gals as an extra set of hands on the wedding day! So when Judy got engaged she called us to film her wedding, and we were so honored! Aaron Delesie was the fantastic photographer and the wedding was held at Montage in Laguna. And I think you can guess who coordinated. :) I loved the colors that Judy picked and the aisle design so cool that I had to use it as the click-thru screen above! Oh and our good friend Peter from Vive Entertainment DJ'd the event. Check out his new website! Judy is the one who nominated us for the Fox 11's "Hot List" for 2008 that you see at the top of our blog. How cool is that? One other really cool thing about Judy & Stuart's wedding was that the ceremony was STREAMED LIVE over the internet so that friends in family in Asia could witness it in real time. Awesome!
