SC Homes solicited our help to produce a behind the scenes video during their build for Extreme Makeover - Home Edition back in early February. This company is seriously cool... the point of the video? To thank all of the people and companies who donated their time and materials for the build. They even had a "premiere" party for everyone involved last night at a theater.... how cool is that? The producer of the show AND the awesome family were in attendance (along with over 300 people!) This was truly a special experience and we were so proud to be part of it!
The video is mostly our footage but was supplemented by footage that the production company gave us (hence why it is in the 4:3 aspect ratio)
Check out Dani & John's Highlights! Love their 50's "getaway" car!! It was a fun wedding and beautiful as always since the Turnip Rose is such a lovely place to hold a wedding! We worked alongside Jim Kennedy who works as fast as he talks making for some great images!
I'm off to Pasadena for the Bridal Happy Hour, but before I go I shall post another film! Michelle & Tim's wedding took place at the always gorgeous Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara. Everything about the day was amazing and I particularly love her gown! The Coordinator was Sonia from XOXO Bride (what a fun name for a company!) and her fabulous photographer was Melissa Musgrove. Ok... so the March Madness took a little.... break (shall we say). I'm on a MAJOR deadline crunch and blogging videos takes FOREVER so I had to take a few days off. But the good news is that I will extend the marathon for an extra week!!
Anyway, for today I want to share a couple of films that are close to my heart. My Dad just got all our old film (I believe it's Super8) transferred and sent me a little bit of it. Totally priceless stuff!! I didn't really edit this or anything, but just put some music underneath. These vids are short but they are so cute! This first one was filmed around probably when I was in 4th or 5th grade. The beginning is of me and my brother messing around before one of my softball games (which by the way, I sucked at) and the rest was filmed at the cabin we used to rent every year in Breckenridge. At the very end you'll have to watch as I open my very own Cabbage Patch Kid (Talulah) for Christmas!
The second video is my first filmmaking debut - I was having some fun filming and as well as acting in front of the camera LOL! (BTW... Drake was my junior high school so this video was done a little later). The beginning is me filming our new house when we first moved into it. The kid with the broken arm is my brother and my sister makes a short appearance I think!
Ok.. So I didn't blog yesterday. We were out celebrating the fact that we were once again voted as one of the Top 25 Hottest & Most Influential Event Videography studios in the world by our peers and Event DV magazine for the sencond year in a row!! Truth be told... we weren't out partying it up... but I was hunkered down at the studio and didn't get a chance to blog.
So to make up for it I shall post TWO videos today! The first is an awesome Arthouse Edit. Silvie and Stan's wedding was held at a private residence... we love doing these weddings because of the unique elements each "estate" has. Lots of eye candy and things to shoot! The beginning of the video actually features a party that they held right before their wedding at their newly purchased, GREEN home. How cool is that? Anyway, enjoy the video. Carolyn Chen was the amazing coordinator who pulled all the (many) details together. She's awesome! Enchanted Florist provided the amazing floral decor and Ira Lippke was on hand to take all of the photos of the beautiful day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! We just got back to the office after treating our awesome staff to day of fun so I don't have much time to post. Just want to share Lindsey & David's beautiful wedding! It was held at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott and we able to shoot with the very talented (and very fun) Joe Latter. Enjoy!

Sarah & Tucker's Arthouse Edit | St. Regis Monarch Beach
Check out Sarah & Tucker's Arthouse Edit! I loved their colors and they had an "off the hook" party!! Sarah of course looked gorgeous and so did their reception room at the St. Regis Monarch Beach... awesome decor provided by White Lilac. I love the colors! The Details Details team did a fabulous job coordinating the event as always. A good wedding coordinator is MUST HAVE for any wedding!
