Well if you've been a blog stalker for the last few years you've noticed that every year about this time we introduce a new company photo taken by one of the OC's best. This is year is no different. We asked Jasmine Star to meet us in downtown Santa Ana to "git-r-done" and I am SO stoked about how these photos came out. Not only did we have a blast doing this with Jasmine, but it was also EASY! She made us feel so comfortable (and kind of like rock stars). I had my hair & makeup done by Design Visage - they are the ABSOLUTE BEST for weddings (and obviously other stuff too!). Oh and if you didn't notice, our team has changed a bit! Let me introduce the awesome new team members: Jeff Young & Carolyn Templin. You'll see Jeff out a lot at weddings.. he's an awesome shooter & editor and just an all around great guy! Carolyn is super sweet and so efficient it makes me sick. She has helped us come to the point of basically no capture back-log in our editing dept! And of course you already know the super cool (and very super model like in these photos) Kyle Nalley, and then of course it's me and Alex. Love the shot that Jasmine got of just us :)
Sheridan & Bo's Arthouse Edit from the Four Seasons Santa Barbara
Ok, so the Marathon took a little break. I know. I am REALLY trying to post everyday... promise! Here's the deal. Our phone has been ringing off the hook the past couple of weeks... we've had loads of meetings with a some really cool couples. Last night I went through our 2009 Calendar and realized it is HALF FULL! What's thrilling is that it seems that people (in general) are starting to see what the value of having a great video is... a professional and cinematic one. One that documents the people that they love the most. Ahhhhh (sigh)... I love what I do!!
Anyway, here is Sheridan & Bo's Arthouse Edit. Love this couple! The fabulous coordinator was Rebecca of Imagine Weddings & Special Events. She helped put together a GORGEOUS event! And of course you can't go wrong at the Four Seasons in Santa Barbara... one of our very favorite venues. Alex worked alongside Elizabeth Messina who shot the photos. She's super creative and does fab work!! All in all, it was a superb event. Check out their Arthouse Edit:
Ok ok, so I didn't post anything yesterday. But I have an excuse because we filmed a rare but amazing Monday wedding yesterday!
So I'll get right to this one... this is the highlights for Anna & Chris. They are an amazing couple and I was really tempted to stay in Monroe, Lousiana and become the Rockett's adopted daughter... that's how cool their family is! I shot this as part of Jessica Claire's awesome contest. She's posted some of the photos on her blog and will post more tomorrow so check them out!!! It never ceases to amaze me how that girl can get amazing photos no matter where she is! We had a lot of fun roaming around Monroe... except for the four hour drive to get there from New Orleans when I got pulled over by a 97 year old police officer. He let me off though because I don't think he knew what to do with an out of state license and a rental car agreement. See a pic here from Jessica's iphone. Anyhoos... Monroe is a great small town. I'm just glad I wasn't there to witness the Chicken Fat Spill of 2007. Congrats Anna & Chris!
