Terrie & Taylor's Same Day Edit from the Langham Pasadena
Hi all! I'm posting this from lovely Cabo San Lucas where we just shot Kari & Roland's awesome wedding and are taking some vacation time down here before we shoot Melina & Christian's Cabo wedding on Nov. 1st! We are having a great time and will be posting some video of our Marlin fishing trip yesterday... super fun! And although I'm limiting myself to internet time, I have a few more weddings to post too :)
Anyway... check out Terrie & Taylor's Same Day Edit! We were at the Langham two weeks in a row and were so excited. I love this venue! And the couple couldn't have been more fun! Of course we were able to work with some awesome vendors once again... Carolyn Chen was the coordinator extraordinaire and Jules Bianchi was the fabulous photographer. Nicolette & Tom's Same Day Edit from the Langham Pasadena
Wow... it's been so long since I've logged in to post that I almost forgot my password!! Last week was spent in New Orleans where we taught and hung out with the most amazing group of event filmmakers EVER!!! Re:Frame was a huge success!! If you want to see the video wrap up plus what's to come in Austin, log-in HERE. Then it was off to Monroe, Lousiana where I shot a fabulously sweet couple. More to come on both topics, but for now I want to share Nicolette & Tom's Same Day Edit from 10/4.
First of all, it seems our brides' dresses just keep getting better and better! Nicolette's was no exception. It was a gorgeous Vera Wang gown that had loads of detail. I chose this photo by the fabulous Victor Sizemore (thx for the pics Vic!) because it not only shows off the awesome venue (Langham Pasadena) but also the dress! Nicolette & Toms's wedding was very intimate and took place in the lush Japanese Gardens. It was touch & go with the rain that day but since they had the fabulous Carolyn Chen coordinating the details, everyone remained calm and in the end she made the rain stop so the couple could have their dream wedding outdoors. OK, so maybe she didn't personally stop the rain, but it DID stop just long enough to set up & perform the Ceremony!! Congrats Nicolette & Tom!!
The Elysium team is super psyched to head to New Orleans on Sunday for the inaugural Re:Frame event (where I will be teaching a group of 50 talented videographers. I'm nervous - but excited!) but before we leave, I wanted to post another film. You may remember Meredith & Gil's Same Day Edit entry, and now, here is their finished Arthouse Edit! Enjoy!
