Yet another couple to grace the pages of Inside Weddings Magazine! Chelsea and Josue's vintage-inspired Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel wedding had sentimental remembrances and amazing decor. You can read all about their gorgeous wedding in the Summer 2010 issue on newsstands now!
We are always so thrilled to see our couple's on the newsstands! Inside Weddings Summer 2010 issue is packed with pages of beautiful wedding dresses, the latest in bridal registry, and tons of bridal accessories, but this issue has Max and Suzanne's Parisian themed wedding featured! You can check out their Arthouse Platinum film here. Without further ado, here is Max and Suzanne's gorgeous Pelican Hill wedding in the pages of Inside Weddings.
We are so happy to be featured TWICE in the Spring 2010 edition of Inside Weddings Magazine. Natasha & Brandon's fairy-tale Beverly Hills Hotel wedding, which can be seen here, was featured beautifully in a 12-page spread.
I just received an email from one of our awesome brides who was married a couple of years ago about the launch of her new family portrait business. I clicked on her blog and there was a post about this video from her wedding. We had put it on youtube shortly after her wedding and it has had over 1,300,000 views!!!! And... it's still the most awesome first dance I've ever seen. The sheer length and talent it took to accomplish this is pretty incredible!
SC Homes solicited our help to produce a behind the scenes video during their build for Extreme Makeover - Home Edition back in early February. This company is seriously cool... the point of the video? To thank all of the people and companies who donated their time and materials for the build. They even had a "premiere" party for everyone involved last night at a theater.... how cool is that? The producer of the show AND the awesome family were in attendance (along with over 300 people!) This was truly a special experience and we were so proud to be part of it!
The video is mostly our footage but was supplemented by footage that the production company gave us (hence why it is in the 4:3 aspect ratio)
Behind the Scenes of Extreme Makeover - Home Edition
This week we are involved in a really cool project... to film all the behind the scenes action of ABC's "Extreme Makeover - Home Edition" for the awesome builder - SC Homes. I was really skeptical that this show was really filmed in seven days but boy was I wrong!! I can't believe the logistics of the project... just crazy! What's so awesome about this is that everyone (including the cast) are so accommodating and so nice!! The producers & directors help us get as close to the action as possible. Way cool! Now I really shouldn't say "us" because I am not there (well I was on Saturday, but now I'm manning the office). Alex is shooting the rest of the week alongside Victor Sizemore who is shooting the photos. Another friend and coordinator, Sharon Gall, designed the VIP tent! Anyway, I can't tell you any details about this episode, but I can give you some hints: It will be a 2 hour episode and they are actually building 3 structures (including a ginormous house for the awesome family). Everyone involved says that it's one of the most complicated and intense builds they've ever done! Anyway, stay tuned... can't wait to post the final video!! BTW... say a little prayer for the end of this week... they are predicting rain!!
Here's Alex and Victor right before the demolition
Alex and I are not your typical tourists. We stay away from cheesy t-shirts and magnets and just like to keep real authentic pieces from our journeys as souvenirs. I just wanted to share a couple items from my recent travels. The first is the lovely Anguilla Drivers License. You have to pay $20 to drive there and check out the only rule. I was cracking up when I saw it!! Anguilla is a British territory hence the drive on the left thing.
And the next is a bill from Qatar. I love currencies from other countries... especially when I can't even recognize letters!!
